Dropper Loop Knot

The Dropper Knot is also known as the Dropper Knot and Blood Loop Knot. This knot allows you to have multiple hooks anywhere on your line that stand perpendicular to the main line.

• Step #1: - Form a loop in your line where you want to place the hook leader, then widen the loop by pulling it open and holding both ends up against the main line (refer to photo).
• Step #2: - Wrap the loop around the main line 3 times.
• Step #3: - Take the loop you've been wrapping and slip it through the gap in the center of the wraps. Make sure to slip enough through to form a loop when the line is tightened.
• Step #4: - Pull on both ends of the line at the same time to pull the knot tight.

There you have it, the Dropper Loop Knot. Some U.S. States have regulations governing how many hooks you can have on the same line at one time. Be sure to check your state's regulations.
